So, while we’re proud of the exceptional materials we use, our reputation for efficiency, and the outstanding skill, knowledge and character of our team, there’s one thing that underpins all of that – and makes us so very different from other home builders.

Eric Hill

Owner & Founder

Having established, and grown, the company alongside his long-time partner, David Brookes, Eric is now the sole owner of Brookes and Hill. Aside from splitting wood to earn pocket money from his grandfather, the earliest years of Eric’s career were with a family business specializing in window replacement. After several happy years working in the window industry, a move into construction ultimately led him to where he is today – running one of New England’s most prestigious home builders. Over his 40 years in the industry Eric has built strong relationships with a great many exceptional architects, designers, suppliers and craftspeople – relationships which have helped B+H establish their unique reputation for quality. A man devoted to his family and friends, and slightly less devoted to the game of golf, Eric is as proud of the team he’s assembled, and nurtured, over the years as he is of the many extraordinary homes he’s helped to build.

Jessica Griffith

Principal

A master’s degree in criminal justice doesn’t often lead someone into the construction business, but in the case of Jessica, we’re very grateful it did. We’re even more grateful to the builder who, early in Jessica’s construction career, told her that she would make an outstanding project manager. Now, having spent more than 20 years in the industry – and 10 of those with Brookes and Hill – Jessica’s compassion, communication and construction expertise make her an inspiring leader in the business. A driving force behind the many rewarding relationships we have with our clients and partners – as well as the strong sense of togetherness we share at B+H – Jessica takes great pride in the homes we build, the service we provide and the legacies we create. Away from the office and the sites, Jessica can typically be found out and about in the fresh air – walking the Boston Esplanade, paddle-boarding or watching an endless diving competition between her Labradors, Buster and Tucker, at her family lake house.
